we had a hailstorm on sunday.

the multi-colored neutral beanie that protected my hair today.

knee-length boots that protect me from calf-high snow.

cottage cheese and celery for breakfast.

yesterday was a blustery day. 

it was snraining and the wind blew my hair in such a way that made me feel famous.

it was in my face so i had to pull my curls back so i could cross the street.

maybe i just felt cool because the clock in my class was an hour fast

and my teacher didn't notice.

so he let us out of class an hour early and i booked it out of there like a bandit.

it was glorious. 

i also felt famous because one of my articles ran today

and my friend isaac told me he liked my writing and

derek texted me to tell me he read my article.

first provo, then the world!!

i also discovered that windy weather makes me look like a chipmunk on crack.

yeah buddy. 

note to self:

next time there's a random windy blizzard,

wear pants unfolded and shoes not made out of thin chinese rubber.

turns out there is a legit blizzard/whiteout warning.

looks like i'll have to go tomorrow.

please note: i have always wanted to be trapped in a blizzard but i think i'd rather be trapped in my home with my family than trapped alone in my house in this college town.

so much has happened in the last week 

that the only way to tell you is to show you.

{lauren came to visit and we went to blickenstaff's}

{we went to dinner at happy sumo, wore our moustaches everywhere, 

met up with chase and went to spark}

{i dressed as a native}

{went to hp7 with the wolf-pack and some serious "models"}

{lola and i volunteered at the mtc and had a mini photo-shoot}

{sunday we went for a drive to the temple and got caught in a blizzard}

**note the obese cougar was not spotted on this drive**

{we made fried pickles! they were  just as snooki described

"crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside" = delicious} 

{please note the dramatic changes in foot wear from one day to the next.

utah is ridiculous}

last night i went to see jigu! 

it was pretty neat.

those chinese sure know how to beat a drum!

in an effort to feel grown up and classy

 along with my strange desire to wear heels, i did.

these ones, but black.

when i left to go pick up mi amigo it was chilly.

just chilly.

by the time the show got out

mother nature had given birth to a full blown blizzard.

now some of you may or may not know this,

but driving stick in heels is not the easiest task.

driving stick, in heels, in the middle of a blizzard is even worse.

{and i promise my skin isn't orange, i blame the stupid flash on my pizzle fone}

 

 i've never driven in snow before.

and i know some of you are thinking

"but brissa, you've been in utah your whole life!  how is this possible?!"

i'll tell you.

i didn't get my license until i was 18.

and i always picked housing that was within walking distance to campus.

that's how.

back to my story.

it was horrible. 

and scary. 

and exhilarating.

the only downside to snow driving:

everyone is suuper cautious and i can't drive fast.

also, i should probably stop taking pictures whilst driving.
it's probably not safe.
