a little while ago andrea

here is what i described as my dream:

me + a robot holding hands. 

our free hands have finger staches and they are above our lips.

beneath there will be a caption that says something like "robots are friends" 

or something clever but gets the same message across.

and if we could be wearing really cool/hip/bright clothes that'd be awesome.

well, i guess robots don't wear clothes, but you know what i mean. 

i just want to look cool enough to be friends with a robot. 

pick whatever color/style you think will achieve that.

i trust you.

actually, maybe we shouldn't be holding hands. 

then people will get the wrong idea.

i'll leave that up to you and your artistic eye.

pardon the repetition but...

saturday was aaaawesome.

bethie and i went to liz and diana's blog party.

i fiiiinally got to meet kylee.

i'm pretty sure i was awkward when i first saw her
but we just hugged it out and it was all good.

i am so, so, soooo happy cecilia  walked up to me and said hello.

when i saw her and kandice  walk in 

{ask beth, ashley and kylee}

i freaked out. 

"ohmygosh! i read about them and

 i want to talk to them but i don't know hoooow!"

yeah, pretty sure i said that at least a thousand times that night.

but then we chatted and i fell in love.

and for those of you wondering,

yes, cecilia and her hair are just as gorgeous in person as they are on her blog,

kandice is cuter and funnier than i could have imagined
{and her baby!!!! oh that natalie is beautiful!}

and kylee is even more hilarious and awesome in person. 

highlights of the evening:

kandice telling me she thought i was in high school

and that she and cecilia both thought i was a punk-ish zumiez workin gangsta.

three cheers for blog friends becoming real friends.

okay, so when little miss thang over here nominated me,
i thought long and hard about not blogging about it.
then this spicy lady gave me the same thing.

ummmm..
don't get me wrong. i'm grateful and flattered, 

i just feel awkward for even considering responding to this 

let alone posting about it in the traditional
"seven get to know you questions" format.

but watching the oscars made me wish i was famous
and i fear this is the closest i will ever get to holding
a golden, naked mini-man in my hands. 

mark my words, i will attend a red carpet event before i die.

my nails have been painted almost every day for the  past two years. 

unpainted toenails make me gag.

i love my family with my entire heart.

just know it's more than a billion unicorns, a zillion robots 

and my first born with james.

scuba diving is one of my favorite summer sports.
i can moonwalk on the ocean floor like nobody's biznass.
that being said, i am deathly afraid of snorkeling.

i am obsessed with youtube videos. 

i don't even have to find them anymore, they find me.

i am four episodes away from finishing the sixth season of lost

and have been since last summer...

i need to thank the one and only carrie ann for this next post.

i read her post about the never ending story.

then i watched the video.

here are my thoughts.

1. this movie used to frighten me as a child.

2. the big flying dog still looks weird.

3. why does the singer close his eyes everytime he goes "high"?

4. this is some of the worst lip syncing i have ever witnessed.

5. i really want to watch this movie.

6. like really bad.

7. who else loved the part where the pictures are floating around the room and he gets scared then turns brave and actually holds one?

8. i think i had a crush on atreyu when i was a child.

9. i really want that snake necklace.

10. is anyone else creeped by the profile that pops up and sings the 'ah-ah-ah' part?
