i'm secretly 77 years old.

despite being years younger 

than jamie lee curtis,

i enjoy eating activia for breakfast.

i blow my nose more than any other person
on my floor at work.
please note,
 i am also the youngest person on my floor.

everyday around lunch time,
i'm overcome with an intense
longing for a nap.
by 2:50 that longing has turned into a necessity.
it's days like this i wish americans believed in siestas.

my hair falls out.
in the shower. in my brush. on my shirts.
it just, falls out.
i'm not going bald
but i'm definitely losing follicles.

i can't tell you how many times i've said,
"i'm just not as young as i used to be."
in the past two weeks.

sidenote:
don't eat mini-wheats for breakfast
and activia for lunch.
it doesn't matter how bad you want yogurt,
don't give in.
it's too much fiber for one day.

the facts are these.

1. i am officially old.  i just can't go to midnight showings and be in the office at eight the next same morning like i used to. it's impossible.

 2. i'm pretty sure there is a dog living in the apartment above mine.  i keep hearing these strange puppy cries and yawn-ish whines.
3. despite their best efforts to teach me to finish my homework before having fun, i ignored my parents last night and left for the movie with only half of my homework done. {five bucks says i'll get a call from one, or both, of them asking me why i didn't finish my homework before i left.  mami will tell me i need sleep so i don't age prematurely and dad will either say "choices....consequences..." or ask if it was worth it}. 

4. last night {well, technically, i guess it was this morning} beth and i gchatted and all i could talk about was how i wanted one blonde haired, blue eyed cherub and a mutant baby. unfortunately, due to my dominant genetics, neither of those will be possible.

i have the coolest baby sister in the entire world.

she came with my parents to help me move on saturday.

and guess what she did.

she left me a little {or about thirty} present{s} on my computer.

here is just a little sample.

i envy her for being able to successfully pull off any face.

and i think this one's my favorite because of her eeeyyeez.

aaaanyway...

i just wanted to share those with you. 

i love my little cracker.

i can't believe she's going to be a junior this year.
