beth-a-palooza

so i have this bff.

and no, her name is not jill.

it's beth.

we've been friends since my junior and her senior year of high school.

today is her 22nd birthday.

!!happy birthday paloozie!!

i honestly don't think i could have asked for a better friend.

one time we had this secret/illegal sleepover and we were the only two who didn't fall asleep.

so we played truth or dare on the elliptical and that is when king kukamunga was born.

then we decided to watch the sunrise so we went out on the tramp and fought for the middle.

when the sprinklers came on we had to run like crazy to avoid the water.

turns out that we don't really have sunrises in utah,

the sky just gets gradually lighter.

we wrote each other letters when she went to college.

and that's how the name "beth-a-palooza" was born.

i have since given her many nicknames:

beffie, beth-annie, baby spice, fuzzy, beff, bethie, bethanie gertrude, paloozie

and one secret one i don't dare type because she would kill me.

i love that my other half and bff are bff-lizzles.

we're the three best friends that anyone could have.

seriously.

kay + beth + breezy = magic. always.

beth got me hooked on the rocket summer.

we've been to so many concerts together i can't even keep track.

but we went to my first concert {harry and the potters}

and my last concert {fun. & jack's mannequin} together.

nothing says friendship like good taste in music.

she puts up with my weird tendencies.

and just laughs {at me} when i...

 sing in opera, talk in accents, shimmy in my bed, say awkward things,

yell on the phone {not to her}, vent about drama, pretend to be ghetto,

make her creations emo and so much more...

she's been adopted into my family.

seriously.

i'd be surprised if mom and dad don't ask her to be in the next family picture.

oh!

and we're moving into our new house this saturday.

yes she's the best.

and she's twenty-two.
