work was terribly slow the other day.
in order to make the never-ending minutes more bearable,
i decided to turn on my justin bieber station.

my ears were greeted with poppy tunes

and a heavenly voice.

i should have been happy.
instead, i was heartbroken.

as i listened to your young voice

it made me miss a few things:

your hair.

we can't really fix this.

you grew up. it's gotten deeper. that's life.
but maybe you can have them studio-edit
your now voice back to your beautiful pre-pubescent voice.

designers are practically throwing their clothes at you
and praying for the trends to start,
but sometimes i wish you'd switch the pimped suits
 for your classic zip-up, jeans riding far below your bottom,
and pumped up kicks.

i think i finally understand what

i miss the old you
and i didn't realize it until you were gone.
find a way to fix it.
