this morning i remembered the happiest thing.
titanic 3-d tonight.

sidenote:
other than a few tv clips here and there,
i've never actually seen the film.
i remember girls talking about it in elementary school
and thinking,
"they watched a movie where you see boobies?!"
i was jealous.
not because of the naked boobie part,
but because they got to watch a pg-13 movie
and talk about it during recess.
i don't think my parents understood.
watching titanic could have secured me popularity for life.
instead,
they started me on a path that would result in
dojo sitting, poetry writing,
and theatre kid ways in high school.
and an obsession with moustaches,
unicorns, and robots in college.

i bet they regret not letting me watch it now.

friturday*

friday night, it started to snow.

one minute it was barely dandruffing

and the next, glorious white flakes were falling from the sky.

it was beautiful.

falling snow is peaceful.

it makes me happy.

saturday i spent the morning

working on a paper,

packing up my room,

and listening to this song.

it's fantastic.

they're fantastic.

saturday night i froze my face off

at the football game.

i thought boots would keep my feet warm.

i was wrong.

they went numb.

walking back to the car

made them tingle.

on the plus side,

this scene combined with hot chocolate
infused with hazelnut deliciousness 

stopped the shaking in no time.
sometimes i shake uncontrollably when i get cold.
my dream of living in an igloo will never be realized.
sidenote: i just spelled 'igloo' like 'igluee'.

So one of the gifts I received during my final Christmas of the Ott Era was an iTunes gift card.  I put it to good use today.  I bought an album I've been wanting for a little while now.  

Enter fun. 

It is golden.  I can't remember if I've ever confessed my undying love for Nate Ruess, but it's strong.  I love this album.  I've been letting Nate's voice serenade me all day.  Would you like me to tell you some of my instant favorites?  Well okay.  But let's clear something up, I'm not sharing my little treasures with you because I know you're dying to hear them, but because this is my baby, so I can say whatever I please.  {wow...I'm sassy today....}
