gah I forgot to get back to you about the Shellac, but you can pay to get it taken off (places usually charge like $5). but my nail lady told me all you do it soak it in acetone and then the scrape it off. It took a little bit of time but not any longer than it takes for me to re-polish my nails every 4 or 5 days due to chipping. The shellac will last for 2 weeks. Sometimes it'll just peel off too if you wait a long time before taking it off. It's AMAZING!! I highly recommend :)
