on saturday i got to interview the writer, producer and director for byu's latest animated film.
i interviewed him and two others who helped on the film.
i wish i could have written a long feature piece on them.
{being limited to 15 inches can sometimes suck.}
i got to watch the film and was amazed.
after interviewing the boys for 40 minutes,
hearing them talk about 2-D and 3-D
{2-D like the little mermaid and 3-D like toy story}
and spit out words like 'tradigital'
it was like magic being able to see the words they were saying come to life in the film.
as i walked to my car and drove home i thought to myself,
"oh. my. gosh. i just interviewed someone who is going to be somebody someday."
not even kidding.
those boys are already pioneering new techniques.
they are the ones who are going to make the movies my kids watch.
it is what we do with the here and now that decides what we do later in life.
like woah.
