on thanksgiving
i woke up around 8:57 to help in the kitchen.
i was in charge of the turkey.
i washed him, rubbed him in salt
and with the help of kay, named him eleazer.
after giving old elez his salt bath,
it was time to stuff him.
this is my fake
"look at me! i'm stuffing a turkaay" face.
this is my real one.
please notice the focus and disgust.
after spending so much time together,
i had a hard time saying goodbye.
during dinner my grandma took a bite of turkey
and told me i was ready for marriage.
sounds like a successful bird to me.
dear elez,
thanks for being so delicious
and helping me honor the pilgrims.
if you really are the reason
i'm ready for marriage,
i promise to dedicate every future turkey i cook to you.
i will also have a framed picture of you at my wedding*.
2 good 2B 4gotten.
*i'm serious .

Sounds like he was a really yummy bird!
Why is it that when stuffing a turkey we revert to an 11 year old boy??
And why are these turkeys so ungodly good?
Maybe Mr. Turkey will marry you and you can be full all the time.
Also, Elez is awesome, I named ours Gordon.
