do you associate an actor with a specific television show?

that's what i've done with dennis duffy.

it is impossible for me to see him 

as anything other than the beeper king.

but, he is.

imagine my surprise when see him pop up in the middle of
 p.s. i love you.
yes.

mr. beeper king and one-time hero 

was denise's love interest, tom.

you know, the sweet one who said he'd,

"been with all the wrong women"?

yeah, that one.

weird, right?

but the story doesn't end there.

some of you have probably already made this association,
and i'm ashamed of myself for not making it sooner,
but in my defense,
our television doesn't work and i only watch netflix
so i haven't seen a commercial in who knows how long.
therefore, i'm allowed to apply the whole "out of sight, out of mind" principle.
dennis duffy = mayhem
and mayhem = my favorite commercials ever.

confession: i sometimes think dennis/tom/mayhem is attractive....
i blame it on the sabor de soledad and his bad boy persona.

moral of the story:

 if i don't get good suggestions for what to watch on my netflix pronto, 

i'm going to continue watching 30 rock and tweeting my favorite quotes 

{aka: the entire script of each episode}.
