i have gone to saint geezy a total of
three times since april.
i think that's a record.
this time i went with my freshman friends.
one group of the boys are back from their mission so we decided to have a little reunion trip.
first of all, chad's time share was beautiful!
i wish i could live there year-round.
day one.
moe and i had quite the adventure on the four-wheelers in the blistering sun.
we rode up to this pretty look out and when we went back to the quads mine wouldn't start.
we were stuck out there for fifteen minutes!
the worst part was that my water bottle fell off the four-wheeler on the way up
so we were dying of thirst.
the creepiest part was that a man in a white truck followed us up the trail and stopped when we did.
he was a couple hundred feet away in his truck,
watching us,
and left when we did.
i get the shivers just thinking about it.
but we eventually got my ride to work and us girls were back on the trail.
i'm very proud of myself for not getting injured once whilst riding.
because we all know what happened last time i was on a motorized bike...
later that day we went to the pool and decided to play woofle ball.
we got most of the little kids and one random adult to join us.
it was awesome.
pretty sure my team won.
melia and i judged the hand stand contest
then moe and i judged the diving contest.
we played a game with a ridiculous name.
it's like clue and charades and telephone all jumbled up into one.
it.was.hilarious.
then we watched x-men origins: wolverine.
two words.
oooh baby baby!!
and i was pleasantly surprised when this little hottie made an appearance.
back to the trip...
day two.
the boys went to go play tennis and the girls went for a walk.
then we went grocery shopping.
after the boys came back we played a monopoly card game
and moe and i decided to make lunch after they started eating the chicken cold.
after playing wise and otherwise we played volleyball until it got too dark.
by eleven that night we were eating dinner.
it was amazing.
honey mustard chicken and mashed potatoes.
if only i could give each of you a sample of the sauce.
mmmm...delectable.
day three.
church was good.
"as many of you know, i'm engaged..."
{i thought those quotes only came from the zoobies at my school}.
em: i hate visiting other wards...i feel like a piece of meat.
moe and i took the true love test with some hotties we found in the ward.
her score?
87% = incredible.
my score?
120% = destiny.
clean up was quick and the car ride back went by fast while we played car games.
i had a blast and it was great catching up with everyone again.
i loved pillow talk with my girls and joking with the boys.
we've all changed over the past two years
but it's comforting to know that we can still have fun like we used to.
