Welcome to where I was born to spend the rest of my days.

I long for the city. 

For the energy and life that surges through your body every second.

I've only been able to witness it in glimpses.

I feel robbed.

I ache for something I've never really had.

The loud noises and occupied people.

I want to get lost in the concrete jungle.

I want to find myself through my struggle to survive it.

I belong there.

The colors.  The people.  The fashions.

This is what awaits me.

I can't wait to grow up.
