blue skies and green fields

last week,
lillie and i went for a ride along the river trail
and ended up at the lake.
at the beginning of the ride i decided to take off my shoes because
"today is too beautiful to wear shoes."
i was right.
it was.
thanks to the abundant rainfall this year,
two areas of the trail were full of water.
riding through the puddles barefoot was incredible.
after the second "river" we saw this bad boy.
behold,
the rusted fire hydrant.
i should apologize for not taking more pictures during this glorious ride,
but i'm not sorry so it would be a lie.
sometimes life is too beautiful to stop and document.
