school is great! thanks so much for letting me come. i honestly think it's the best thing that has ever happened to me. i can't believe it's already been seven years!! remember how i almost wet myself with excitement when i got my acceptance letter/invitation? hermione says hi and reminded me to ask you something (please say yes!!). okay, so since it's our last year together we all wanted to spend the holiday break together at the weasley's. is that okay? ron already talked to his parents and they said they would love to have us. please please please!!
i think my classes are going to be really challenging this term. luckily hermione and i are studying nearly the same subjects as we prepare for the n.e.w.t. exams. those are going to be ridiculously hard. oh well, i guess i'll just have to study hard and focus, after all, this is my final year!
ron and harry have gone off and left hermione and i here in the common room. i have no doubt that they'll come rushing back within five minutes exclaiming that they've discovered something incredible. you know how they are. :) speaking of the common room, you wouldn't believe the password the fat lady gave us this year! it's brilliant!! i'll be sure to tell you after it's been changed.
oh!! i almost forgot. here's the picture we're using as an invitation to our annual halloween party. we all decided to do intimidating/serious faces. hermione and i kept laughing and we realized the only way i can make a serious face is if i'm wearing my sunglasses. the boys offered to give us face modeling lessons...

***author's note: in a perfect world (where dumbledore is still alive and voldemort is dead) this would be an actual letter i would send my parents. oh well, at least harry kills voldey and we end up having nice lives just like our autobiography harry potter and the deathly hallows says.***
