hey gram.

one of my favorite people in the entire universe had a birthday today.

 {It was this little lady.}

I love her a lot and I'm going to tell you why {in some form or another}.  WARNING!  You will most likely get jealous at how awesome my grandma is compared to yours.  Sorry...that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Thanks.  I don't think I tell you that enough.  I am really, really grateful to have you in my life.  Thanks for not giving up.  I hope you know that your undying faith strengthens me when things are going rough.  Thanks for teasing us.  Thanks for always pinching whoever is closest to you when they deserve it.  Thanks for making those homemade napkins all those years ago.  Thanks for not being able to eat the little seeds in raspberries so Daddy strayed from his norm fruit-filled birthday cake.  {Yours has by far been the best...ever}.  Thanks for listening to me.  Thanks for your sound advice.  Thanks for believing in me.  I hope to be like you when I grow up.  A strong woman.  A woman who knows what she wants.  A woman who doesn't take crap from anyone.  A faithful woman.  A truly wonderful woman.
